Booking Cancellation policy.
We understand that sometimes plans change. To keep things fair for everyone, including our small farm business, the following cancellation policy applies to all space hire bookings at The Werombee Hive.
Cancellations made more than 21 days before your booking
● You may choose a refund of your booking fee, less a $50 administration fee; or
● A full credit towards a future booking (no fee, one transfer per cancellation).
Cancellations made within 21 days of your booking
● Refunds and credits are not normally available once we are within 21 days of your booking, as commitments have been made to venue preparation and scheduling and may have had to decline other booking opportunities.
● If you do need to cancel, please email us. If we are able to rebook the space from our wait list or through another enquiry, we will provide a credit towards a future booking, less a $100 administration fee.
Bookings with catering provided by The Werombee Hive
● If catering has been arranged through us, additional conditions apply due to food orders and staffing commitments:
○ Cancellations within 14 days of your booking may forfeit catering costs already incurred.
○ Where no costs have yet been incurred, the general cancellation terms above will apply.
If The Werombee Hive cancels your booking
● In the unlikely event that we must cancel for reasons beyond your control, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid, or you may choose to transfer your booking to another available date at no charge.

● 21+ days’ notice: refund (less $50 fee) or full credit to a future booking.
● Within 21 days: no refund/credit unless the space is rebooked (then credit less $100 fee).
● Catering bookings: cancellations within 14 days may forfeit catering costs already incurred.
● If we cancel: full refund or free transfer to another date.
