INTRODUCING

The Hive

Farmstay Accommodation

Slow down. Stay a while.

Welcome to the Hive

Located in Theresa Park on Dharawal Country, just over an hour from Sydney, The Werombee Hive is a family-run farmstay set on a peaceful pocket of land known locally as “God’s Country.” Surrounded by rolling hills, gum trees, and the gentle hum of bees, our property offers a warm and welcoming space to slow down, reconnect, and breathe in the country air.

Our farm is home to bees, chickens, veggie gardens, and native wildlife, and it’s where we raise our family, craft by hand, and live simply. Guests are invited to settle into the rhythm of farm life—gathering eggs, wandering the paddocks, sipping tea by the camp fire, or joining in one of our seasonal workshops.

Come stay, explore, and create with us — we’d love to welcome you to the Hive.

Our Accommodation

The Werombee Hive offers a cosy, fully self-contained space designed to accommodate couples, families, or quiet weekend getaways. The interiors are simple and warm, reflecting our love of handmade touches and slow living.

Your stay includes:

  • A light-filled space with a queen bed and optional folddown murphy bed &/or portacot

  • Kitchen with a gas cooktop, electric oven, and full cooking essentials

  • Private bathroom with hot shower and eco toiletries

  • Air conditioning and seasonal heating

  • Outdoor seating and firepit for stargazing and marshmallow toasting

  • BBQ and a shady alfresco area to enjoy meals outside

  • Fresh honey harvested by Stuart (The Werombee Man) from our apiary.

You’ll also find a welcome basket with fresh eggs (when the girls are laying), honey from our hives, local jams and pickles, and a few handmade treats to enjoy during your stay.

While we respect your privacy, we’re just around the corner if you need anything. This is a working farm, so you might hear the occasional tractor, lawn mower, or bees buzzing about their day—it’s all part of the charm of staying on the land.

Farm Experiences

Guests are invited to slow down and immerse themselves in the daily rhythm of life on the farm. Wander through the orchard, sip a cuppa in the veggie garden, or collect eggs from our friendly free-range chooks. You're welcome to explore the property at your own pace — the animals, gardens, and paddocks are yours to enjoy during your stay.

We also offer a range of seasonal workshops and hands-on experiences to enrich your visit — from beekeeping and honey tasting with Stuart, to beeswax candle-making, jam-making, mosaics, and more with Ally. Whether you're travelling with kids or simply curious to learn something new, there’s something for everyone at The Hive.
