From the Kitchen
Dried Strawberries
When the strawberry patch gives you more than you can possibly eat — and if you've ever grown your own, you'll know that feeling — dehydrating them is one of the most satisfying things you can do with the surplus. There is something almost magical about taking a perfectly ripe berry at its peak and preserving all of that sweetness and flavour into something you can tuck into a jar and reach for months later, long after the season has passed.
Behind the Recipes
Hi, I'm Ally
Artisan + Jam Maker + Beeswax Candle Creator + Collaborator + Mema + Wife to Stuart.
Welcome to our little corner of the farm kitchen. You'll find no fuss here — just honest, homemade recipes made with good ingredients, most of them grown or gathered right here at The Werombee Hive. The jams are made in my kitchen, the honey comes from Stuart's hives, and everything is made with the belief that what you do truly matters.
